Chicago Style Sausage Dip

A twist on the classic Chicago style sandwich, filled with all the good stuff and lots of flavor.


2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup J&A Chow Chow drained

2 cups Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus an additional 1/4 cup for topping

1/4 cup chopped pepperoncini salad peppers

4 oz. Provolone cheese, diced

1 celery rib, finely chopped

1/2 red bell pepper, chopped

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

French bread crostini

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except parsley and crostini.

  2. Spread mixture in an oven-safe dish, top with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbly.

  3. Garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with French bread crostini.
