Holiday Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened

2/3 cups granulated white sugar

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup Homestyle Seedless Red Raspberry Jam

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper so cookies don't stick and set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until the mixture looks light and fluffy.

3. Add the egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

4. Add vanilla extract.

5. Sprinkle in the salt, then and gradually add the flour. Mix until the dough comes together with no dry spots remaining.

6. Scoop the dough into small even portions, rolling into balls. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each.

7. Press your thumb gently into the center of each dough ball to create a small well. Don't push all the way through.

8. Spoon Homestyle Seedless Red Raspberry Jam into each indentation.

9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until thet bottoms are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the sheet for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a rack to cool completely.
