Ingredients:

For the cake:

1 box yellow cake mix; 15.25 ounce

1 jar (33 ounce) of Jake & Amos Peach Halves; drain, but save 1/2 cup for the juice

3 large eggs

1/3 cup of vegetable oil

1 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract

For the crumb topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted

2/3 cup brown sugar

For the glaze:

2 tablespoons of milk

1 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
  1. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick baking spray. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, 1/2 cup drained peach juice, eggs, oil, and almond extract. Mix until smooth.

  3. Once mixed, pour the batter into the 9 x 13 baking dish. Place the drained Jake & Amos Peach Halves, round side up, on top of the batter.

  4. In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until it has a crumbly texture. Sprinkle this topping over the peaches and cake batter.

  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown. You can tell when it's done by inserting a knife into the center of the cake and it comes out clean.

  6. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool while preparing the glaze.

  7. Combine the ingredients of the glaze together and slowly drizzle it over the top of the cooled Peach Crumb Cake. Enjoy!
