Description:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 ½ teaspoon paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon olive oil
25 American cheese slices (1 square inch cubes)
Iceberg lettuce
1 white onion, sliced
Metal or wooden skewers
Dipping Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Jake & Amos Sweet Pickle Relish
3 2 Tablespoons brown mustard
1 ½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Dipping Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, brown mustard, white vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and refrigerate for 1 hour to develop flavor.
2. Burgers: In a large bowl, mix ground beef with paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and light brown sugar until evenly combined.
3. Place the beef between two sheets of parchment paper and roll into an 8x8 square. Cut into 1-inch squares using a pizza cutter, or form small patties by hand.
4. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Cook the beef squares for 2–3 minutes per side. Add cheese just before removing from the pan so it melts slightly.
5. Let the mini patties cool for about 3 minutes.
6. Skewers: Assemble skewers by layering a burger, lettuce, lime pickle, and onion, then secure with a skewer.
7. Serve with dipping sauce on the side or drizzle over the skewers before serving.
