Ingredients:

16 ounces Jake & Amos Extra‑Wide Egg Noodles

1 1/2–2 pounds ground beef

1/2 pound sliced mushrooms

1 cup onion, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 (28‑ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 cup water

1 Tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup (4 ounces) mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and coat a 3‑quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

2. Cook egg noodles in 3–4 quarts of salted boiling water with 2 tablespoons oil for 12–15 minutes, or until tender. Drain, rinse, and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with mushrooms and onion until no pink remains, stirring frequently. Drain excess liquid.

4. Stir cooked noodles, spaghetti sauce, onion soup mix, water, garlic powder, sugar, salt, and pepper into the beef mixture until well combined.

5. Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish, cover, and bake for 25 minutes.
