    We started purchasing Jake & Amos Pickled Asparagus quite a few years back at small farmers markets in Pennsylvania, and loved the pungent flavor, quality of the spears, and tender texture. This past month we purchased our usual 4-jar/3-month order, and were really disappointed. The asparagus spears were tough and stringy, the flavor was the same, but the texture was not even palatable. This has just occurred now that the company has expanded into the AllBulkFoods site. Their product quality has really suffered, in our opinion, and doubt we will ever be making another purchase. It’s a pity this product has succumbed to the new corporate mantra, “Done! Not perfect.”

    Jake&Amos Pickled Asparagus is so EXCELLENT and TASTY! These are great as a snack, side dish or added to salads. Mail ordering from Jake&Amos was easy and my 4 jars arrived quickly and carefully packaged for safe delivery! If you like dill pickles, give this Pickled Asparagus a try, too!
